On the afternoon of April 25, 2024, in order to effectively protect the occupational health rights and interests of employees and improve their awareness of traffic safety and occupational disease prevention and control, the company invited Officer Li from the Shilou Town Traffic Police Squadron and relevant staff from the Physical Examination Center of Panyu District Shiqiao Hospital to teach employees about traffic safety and occupational health education knowledge at the Guangri Industrial Park Party and Mass Activity Center with the theme of "Adhere to prevention first, protect occupational health". A total of 140 people from various departments of the company participated in the training.

01 Traffic safety knowledge explanation

At the training site, Officer Li explained the importance of wearing a safety helmet and how to wear a safety helmet correctly, and popularized traffic safety knowledge and laws and regulations to everyone, advocating the concept of safe, standardized and civilized travel. Officer Li took a typical accident that occurred recently as an example to talk about the harm of traffic violations such as motorcycle and electric vehicle drivers not wearing safety helmets, not wearing seat belts, and driving in the opposite direction, and guided the majority of employees to develop good traffic travel habits. Through training, the company's employees have a practical understanding of defensive driving techniques, which has laid a solid foundation for preventing road traffic accidents and effectively prevented and reduced the occurrence of road traffic accidents at the source.

02 Basic knowledge of occupational disease prevention and control

During the training, the expert lecturer of the Physical Examination Center of Shiqiao Hospital gave an in-depth and easy-to-understand explanation from the statutory responsibilities of employers for occupational disease prevention and control and occupational health supervision in the workplace, the occupational health protection rights enjoyed by workers according to law, and popular science knowledge of common occupational diseases. Including occupational health laws, regulations and occupational health standards, basic knowledge of occupational disease hazard prevention and control, and combined with the prevention and control of major occupational disease hazard factors in our unit, the company employees were explained in detail.

 03 Production safety training consolidates the foundation

At the end of the training, Xu Fuliang, director of the production workshop, deployed various work on production safety during the "May 1st" period. In combination with recent production practices, we alerted all employees to the "six most common employee psychological states that affect safe production" and "eight common unsafe behaviors of employees" that lead to safety accidents, and effectively built a strong ideological defense line to make the safety concept enter their minds and hearts. We also emphasized that every employee must master basic safety production knowledge, clarify the safety responsibilities of their respective positions, and create a safe, stable and efficient working environment for the company.
